The unit connects directly to a compatible Analog PSTN or PABX line and is powered from the telephone line, eliminating the need for a separate local power supply in standard analog installations. It supports DTMF programming, programmable auto hang-up, and scheduled test calls to a central control phone for periodic operational verification.
