The JR314-SC-4G Cellular Elevator Communication System is a rugged, flush-mount emergency telephone designed for elevator modernization, retrofit, and new installation projects. It provides one-button, hands-free communication from the elevator car to a programmed monitoring center, security desk, maintenance team, or other designated destination.
The 4G LTE version is particularly useful where an existing POTS line is being removed or where installing a new landline or Ethernet connection is impractical. The unit operates with a customer-supplied compatible SIM card and cellular service plan, so there is no mandatory proprietary cellular-service contract. Carrier, frequency-band, voice, and VoLTE compatibility should be confirmed for the project location before ordering.
Its compact flush-mount construction makes the phone well suited to elevator retrofit projects, including replacement of older emergency telephones where the existing operating panel can be reused or modified. The steel front panel, vandal-resistant call button, noise-cancelling microphone, and built-in speaker provide a durable fixed communication point for passenger elevators and other controlled-access locations.
