- 01Industrial phones are designed for harsh environments where standard communication devices fail. They are commonly used in oil & gas, mining, transportation, and manufacturing for emergency communication and operational coordination.
- 02Analog phones connect through traditional telephone lines, SIP phones use VoIP networks, and 4G telephones operate wirelessly using cellular networks, ideal for remote locations without wired infrastructure.
- 03Yes, the 4G phone can have a built-in battery. Due to space limits, the max battery capacity is 6AH, providing 3-5 days of standby time.
- 04Analog phones: The standard power cord is a two-core wire, 3.3 ft (1 m) long. Longer cords are available upon request (over 9.8 ft (3 m) may have an extra fee). 4G phones: The power cord is 1.6 ft (0.5 m), and the antenna cable is 6.6 ft (2 m). Longer power cords are available upon request.
- 05LC200 series: Default 32.7 inches (83 cm). Other lengths available upon request. LC100 series: Without door cover: 32.7 inches (83 cm). With door cover: 11.8 inches (30 cm).
- 06Our explosion-proof phones are ATEX and IECEx certified: ATEX: Mainly for the European market. IECEx: International certification for use in explosive environments, suitable for the global market.
- 07Yes, a strong magnet keeps the door securely closed while allowing quick emergency access. We also offer optional mechanical locks.
- 08Yes. Let us know before ordering, and we’ll pre-install the necessary software at no extra charge (unless custom features are required).
- 09Yes, all our SIP phones support TLS 1.2 encryption.
- 10By default, the external 30W horn is used only to amplify the ringtone for incoming calls. The voice communication is handled through a separate 2W speaker located inside the phone enclosure. If you require the entire conversation (both ringtone and voice) to be output through the external horn, a software modification of the 4G phone is required. Please note, this customization will incur an additional fee.
- 11The relay can be configured with a relay control command sent during a call using this SMS format: 999#48X# where X = 0–9 (default is 1). This means you can control the relay during the call by pressing the programmed digit on your phone.
- 12In this case, we recommend using a SIP phone with a 4G router (like in the picture). It supports both 12V DC and PoE power supply.
- 13Our telephones support accurate GNSS-based location positioning (GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BDS/QZSS), which allows the device to provide geographic coordinates during 911 emergency calls. It is important to note that Android Emergency Location Service (ELS) is a feature of Android smartphones with Google Play Services, not of industrial 4G telephones. While our devices do not use Android ELS, they do provide reliable GNSS location data that can be transmitted to emergency services during 911 calls.
- 14The LC200 and LC300 series can be fitted with an induction loop, though some models may need casing modifications, which could add a small fee. For the LC100 weatherproof series, only hands-free intercoms like LC104-1PB and LC102-1PB have enough space for an induction loop. The easiest way to find the right solution is to write to us using the contact form at the bottom of any page on our website, mention the model you want to equip with an induction loop, and we will suggest the best option.
- 15The extra 4 buttons on the keypad are blank by default and can be configured as speed dial buttons.
- 16The operating temperature of the phone supports -40˚C to +65˚C (-40˚F to +149˚F), and the IP rating is IP65. If the phone is exposed to the outdoors and rain for a long time, there is a risk of rust and motherboard short circuit. To extend the service life in humid regions, it is recommended to install the phone under a canopy or cover to reduce direct exposure to rain. When installed in breezeways or foyers, with stable power supply and no human damage, the service life can typically reach around 10 years.
